A little bit of Her left in You - By Madhura Netkar

As soon as I say hiiii, this is the first meet we have,

I can see your eyes changing its size, yes.. they had that little bit of sunrise …

Your curiosity in knowing me was stopped by something in the past,

I could feel the burden of thoughts in your mind & I guess it was vast…

My curiosity in knowing you were visible on my face,

& I realized that your heart was still running in someone else’s race…

As we went further I realized that this is not the person who the world calls as fierce, He is just another human being who was left alone in tears…

His hands were firm & strong as if they could break anything be it stone or clay, but the same hands also had lines of a broken fate for display…

Who was she who broke your heart, Are you really happy staying like this apart?

His eyes behind those specks started searching for a rescue,

‘Would you like to have a cup of coffee? ‘ is what he said as an excuse…

The so-called famous coffee had no flavors left in it, all that I thought was why did I agree for this meet…

As I began to leave, you were searching for a reason for me to stay, and I  wandered are your intentions just to play…

The last lines that we said to each other were really important for us in many ways, for truth are the only thing that people say stays…

He parted the way saying girls like you are very few, your heart is Crystal clear and words are transparent hues...

My words were simple & straight, which hit him like the tragedies of fate,

“Yes girls like me are very few because I still love you knowing that she has left a little bit of her in you!”
