Aurangabad's First Smart Signal installed at High Court Road by Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited went live on Tuesday. Inspired by an experiment by environment minister Aditya Thackeray at Worli, the entire pole of the signal lights up in sync with the traffic light. The Smart Signals will not only enhance the city's aesthetics but will also improve road safety. The Smart Signals enables the motorists to see the traffic signal from as far as 150 meters and adjust the speed accordingly.
